No, pre-licensing course providers do not issue real estate licenses. The course prepares you to sit for the state license exam. After you pass the course final exam, you will receive a certificate of completion (type and process varies by state). You will then schedule your license exam with the test vendor chosen by your state. The test vendor is a separate company and has their own fees. Complete information on the test vendor is provided in your course materials.

This is state law. Every state requires pre-license training to obtain a real estate license. The requirements vary according to each state’s requirements. Express Real Estate Exam Prep offers you your license with taking these courses.

Licensing requirements vary from state to state. How long it takes to get licensed will be determined by two factors: the number of hours of education you are required to take to get a license and the study pace that you set.* You can verify the number of education hours required in your state by choosing your state from the Get Licensed tab on our homepage.

Express Real Estate Exam Prep can get your license ready in 5 business days. If you have specific questions about a particular state you can call Student Enrollment at (612) 568-5052 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (CST), or email your question into our enrollment support department at support@expressrealestateexamprep.com.

It will vary by state. To find the information for your specific state, choose your state from the Get Licensed tab then click on the License Requirements button. There you will find a link to your state’s licensing commission where you can find the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your real estate exam details. You will also find this information in your course.

State Licensing Exam Proctoring and Providers
Every state requires you to pass a licensing exam to get your license. This exam is completely separate from your education. You will have to register for the exam, pay a fee, and go to a specific testing site on the day your appointment is scheduled.

Most states use a third-party testing provider to administer the exams. Others administer the test themselves at set locations in the state. Your course documents will have information on your state’s specific testing provider and exam. For your convenience we have listed the testing providers by state below, along with the website address.
